In the U.S., I like to get a Subways sandwhch that is a cold cut variety of meats on it. I have them put the mayonaise in a container if I'm taking it with me to eat somewhere else. I don't like the mayonaise getting the bread all soggy before I eat it, smiles.. I generally have them put tomatoes, lettuce, onions, green peppers, pickles, & black olives on it. Speaking of black olives, someone once told me or I read somewhere that green olives turn to the black ones with time as they ripen - I wander if that's really true.
