It won't be long until kids are trick-or-treating and there's a coldness in the air.
Today, I seen a very early sign that Fall is coming. From close observation of the fallen leaves and those few still on the tree, it was 2 different maple trees.
We all know certain trees display their colors early then retire into dead brown leaves on the forest floor. But could many or all of these trees be Maple trees or, by evolution, related to them?
A penny for your thought(s).
Addendum: Yesterday I road in the wilderness on my Yamaha again. Once more, being the 3rd time now, I observed that maple leaves had fallen off a tree and were brown on the ground.
