If a Tree falls in the Forest, and no one hears it, does it make a Sound?
Scientists disagree, so you'll get no definitive answer here.
Physicists will tell us that Sound is a Wave (a Mechanical Wave), thus Physics Professors will tell you Sound still exists through the medium, such as air on Earth.
Biologists, however, tell us that Sound is a concept that is heard by the Ear Drum or Vibrations felt by a Species - such as Vibrations felt on a Species skin, et... Biologists tell us that Sound exists only if a Species Ear or body detects it.
So, there you have it - a disagreement between Physicists and Biologists that if a Tree falls in the Forest, and no one hears it, does it make a Sound...

I always thought this was an odd question. Humans are not the only ones who can "hear". There are other creatures so yes, a tree will make a sound.

Interesting take on it! And I agree with you. Furthermore, a Physicist will say sound is simply a certain type of wave that requires no ear, like light, radio waves, x-rays, gamma-rays, etc.... But Sound is not an Electromagnetic Wave like those I've listed, but still a Wave.
